Theofelus Mberirua - Director

Theofelus Mberirua is not a stranger to the banking world. Prior to his appointment as MD of Standard Bank Namibia Holdings he was the MD of Telecom Namibia. Among his qualifications are an MBA in Accounting and Finance which he completed at the Baruch College of the City University of New York in 1987and a Bachelor of Science degree at Mercy College - Dobbs Ferry, New York in 1985. He was a board member of First National Bank for seven years, as well as a member of the auditing committee for the same period. While studying in the US, he also worked in the finance world.

He passed the Examination of Certified Public Accountancy (CPA) in New York and attended the International Programme for Telecommunications Management in Kalmar - Sweden in 1995. In addition, Mr Mberirua attended an Advanced Executive Program at TEMIC, Canada and Inseads' Senior Executive Program in France.

Mr Mberirua's telecommunications and financial experience is an asset to TelePassport.
