TelePassport signs Agreement with Cell One
Cell One has concluded an agreement with TelePassport Namibia, which will provide corporate clients the opportunity to save up to 40% on Cell One destined traffic on their corporate phone bills.
“By introducing Least Cost Routing (LCR) focused packages Cell One has added a new product to its corporate offering, and this gives more choice to our customers in Namibia's 13 regions. Cell One's relationship with TelePassport will offer competitive rates to landline users when calling to the Cell One network”, says Dr Leake Hangala, Director Corporate Strategy.
“Cell One values the establishment of smart partnerships that help our customers explore the possibilities of greater value for money in terms of their telecommunication needs”, Hangala noted.
TelePassport, the independent leaders of LCR in Namibia since 2005, have been instrumental in introducing the concept of LCR to the corporate communication market.
LCR is a technology through which fixed or landline calls made to a cell phone may be converted into a cell-to-cell call, guaranteeing monetary savings of up to 40% for the corporates.
With the signing of the contract, voice calls destined to Cell One will be routed directly onto the Cell One network. This means that all voice calls made from a landline will be charged as Cell One to Cell One calls.
TelePassport Namibia Managing Director, Phillip Stier said his company is also glad to support Cell One through the provision of value added services that will enable Cell One to successfully approach the corporate market in Namibia.
“With the extending of TelePassport's services to Cell One, customers making calls to the Cell One network will now have the option of further savings on their corporate bills” Stier noted.
